During the Lagos state gubernatorial elections, held on on March 18th, 2023, Igbos were targeted in certain parts of Lagos. Some were told they could only vote if they were going to support the governing APC. In other instances, people were not allowed to vote because they “looked Igbo”. Independent audit of iReV portal uploads casts doubt on INEC results for Rivers state, others
Individuals from around the world have looked at the iReV portal and found that results given by INEC for Rivers State greatly inflated APC’s figures, while Labour Party votes were undercounted, PDP still third. The system, which is built to be impartial and accurate, already shows discrepancies with INEC’s declared results.
